Two years after Poon gave to St. Hugh’s College, he gave 20 million GBP to King’s College London to support the school’s already-existing law faculty. The amount given by one person to the university was the highest in its history. The Dickson Poon School of Law at King’s College London was renamed in honor of his generosity.
